Most couples choose a wedding destination and honeymoon with their eyes. What if you chose it with your astrological chart?

Every place on earth carries a different astrological signature. Some locations amplify romance and emotional depth. Others stir ambition, or restlessness, or a kind of still calm that’s exactly what a relationship needs.

This is Astrocartography: mapping an individual’s birth chart onto the globe to see which places actually support a specific type of relationship story, as well as which dates carry the right timing for a wedding, honeymoon, or anniversary trip. A little bit of flexibility with your timing can go a long way to securing the sky story matches your intentions for your marriage.

For over 20 years, across 47 countries, I’ve worked as an Evolutionary Astrologer and Astrocartography specialist - helping clients understand not just where to go, but when to go there, and why it matters more than most wedding and honeymoon planning ever accounts for.

Here’s what almost nobody tells you: Venus influences can support real affection and heart-opening and Jupiter can bring a sense of optimism and inspiration, but these planets aren’t the whole story. Venus governs romance and harmony, yes - but some planets can bring friction or intensity, like Mars or Pluto. And Juno, the asteroid of committed partnership - points to where marriage specifically is honored, not just where the trip will be beautiful. Also, one’s experience in a location depends on understanding the whole astrology chart of each person, not just the influence of a planetary line.

This isn’t a fringe idea anymore. Royal Caribbean partnered with an astrologer last year to build Venus-line romance itineraries for their cruises. Delta and Qatar Airways did something similar with a travel-horoscope guide. Major travel brands have bet on astrology as a real driver of where people choose to go destination weddings, and of course honeymoons, are simply the next place this belongs.

In 2024 and 2025, I worked with retreat leaders on exactly this kind of single-location-and-timing reading, offered as a taster before deeper consultations, and it consistently showed me the same thing: people move from curiosity to real clarity and confidence fast, once they see it applied to their own situation. That holds even more true for couples standing at the edge of a decision as meaningful as a wedding destination.

Couples also work with Destination by Design for coaching in both Relationship Astrology and Human Design. Both of these tools reveal how you can enhance your communication, harmonize your individual and collective goals, increase romance and intimacy, flow with each other’s timing, and better understand your journey as a couple.

If you’re planning a destination wedding, honeymoon, or anniversary trip, this is exactly the kind of consulting we offer - helping you choose not just a beautiful place, but the most optimal timing for the relationship you’re building.
